Overview
In the Chesapeake Bay watershed, one method of reducing nutrient (manure) discharges from livestock operations may be to involve them in in nutrient trading, in which producers sell representations of their pollution reductions as credits. This study compares livestock operations to crop-only producers and their participation in nutrient trading.
