Vegetables and Pulses Data - Vegetables and Pulses Historical Data

The collection below presents long-run historical data for 13 vegetable and pulse commodity groups.  Generally covering 50 years or more, these “vintage” Excel data sets offer researchers one-stop shopping for a broad range of fresh and processed vegetables. Included time series cover domestic (U.S.) acreage, yield, production, disappearance, prices, crop value, and trade. Most data sets also cover world area, production, and trade. Several data sets present U.S. agricultural chemical use, cost of production, and usual planting/harvesting dates. The zip files below include the Excel spreadsheets and a “readme” text file.
