Megan is an economist in the Diet, Safety, and Health Economics branch of the Food Economics Division. She manages the IRI food scanner datasets at ERS, and her current research focuses on consumer food expenditures and purchasing decisions.
Prior to joining ERS in 2014, Megan worked as an economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the Employment Projections program and the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey program.
Megan has a Masters in Applied Economics from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in economics from the University of Notre Dame.
