Adriana Valcu-Lisman is an agricultural economist in the Animal Products and Cost of Production Branch of the Market and Trade Economics Division at USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS), where she contributes to the Market and Outlook Program.

Background

Before joining ERS in 2021, Adriana was a postdoctoral researcher with Center for Agriculture and Rural and Development, and an associate scientist in the Department of Natural Resources and Ecology Management—both at Iowa State University.

Education

Adriana received a Ph.D. in Economics from Iowa State University. She received her M.S. and B.S.B degrees from the Academy of Economic Studies from Romania.
