Percent of sorghum yield loss estimates under different warming scenarios

Researchers found that sorghum is highly sensitive and exhibited significant yield loss at temperatures beyond 33 ⁰C (severe heat) in a study conducted on Kansas farms. When warming is accompanied by lower-than-average precipitation, yield losses do not substantially increase.
