Meat and milk losses are greater in areas with higher cattle concentrations

USDA, Economic Research Service researchers simulated how climate change would affect the amount of herbaceous biomass grown on global rangelands through 2050, finding a 4 percent decrease. The reduction’s effect on meat and milk production was expected to vary widely by region.
