Sociodemographic groups exhibited differences in the likelihood of engaging in online grocery shopping, 2022–2023

Using the Eating and Health Module, USDA, Economic Research Service researchers found that in 2022–2023, about 1 in 5 U.S. shoppers aged 15 and older bought groceries online in the past 30 days. However, the likelihood of purchasing groceries online varied by sociodemographic group.
