Briefly

Bob Williams is an Economist in the Resource and Rural Economic Division, Farm Economy Branch. His research topics include farm financial analysis, and analyzing data from the Agricultural Resource and Management Survey and other data sources to provide useful information and research results to policymakers.

Background

Bob began working for ERS in 1985. He initially worked as a member of the Farm Income Team Estimating farm sector cash receipts. Having gained experience in using computer technologies and software he spent a notable time working in the Information Services Division, Research Support Branch. More recently, Bob returned to his economist roots in the Rural Resource Economics Division to conduct research on financial analysis issues.

Education

He received his B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Economics from Auburn University.
