Gregory York is a management and program analyst in the Office of the Administrator at the Economic Research Service (ERS). Greg oversees a portfolio of projects and initiatives to ensure they align with the organization's strategic objectives. Greg monitors project progress, identifies risks, and proposes solutions to ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and policies. Greg collects and analyzes data to measure program effectiveness and develops reports or presentations to share findings with stakeholders.

Background

Greg joined ERS in May 2021 as a Pathways Intern while studying for his master of public administration degree, with a focus on public policy. Before joining ERS, Greg was the liaison for Project 150, a Las Vegas nonprofit organization, facilitating relations between the organization's external partners in the public sector. He was responsible for engaging with the broader community to promote the partnership and its benefits to school district administrators and local government officials. Greg monitored the policies, procedures, and regulations of both the nonprofit and the school district to ensure that any collaborative efforts were compliant and provided regular reports to organizational leadership about the status of joint projects or initiatives and any challenges or successes.

Education

Greg earned his M.P.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Additionally, he holds a master's in strategic communication from Liberty University and a bachelor of science in public relations from The University of Texas at Austin.
