Daniel Pick is Senior Economist and Recruitment Coordinator for the Economic Research Service’s (ERS) Market and Trade Economics Division.
Daniel’s publications have appeared in the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Review of International Economics, Economic Development and Cultural Change, and others. He previously served as the editor of the Review of Agricultural Economics (now Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy). At ERS, he served as a Senior Economist, Branch Chief, and Deputy Director for Research. His current responsibilities include assisting with recruiting and reviewing technical reports. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, biking, cooking, and, most importantly, spending time with his three granddaughters.
Daniel received his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arizona and his PhD in the Department of Agriculture and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis.
