Alexander Stevens joined the Economic Research Service as a research agricultural economist for the Food Markets Branch in the Food Economics Division in 2019. His research interests include consumer food demand, food policy, and rural food markets.

Education

Alexander holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign, and a B.A. in Economics from California State University – Chico.
