Overview

This annual report describes U.S. farm and ranch characteristics using recent data from the Agricultural Resource Management Survey (ARMS), an annual survey of agricultural producers. Two special sections focus on direct sales of edible and non-edible products and transitioning and certified organic acreage.

Errata: On February 17, the legend in figure 6 was changed to include the correct value for U.S. median wealth and the source was updated to list the correct year for the Survey of Consumer Finances. No additional text or figures were impacted by these changes.
