USDA’s Economic Research Service Resource Requirements of Food Demand (RRFD) data product measures the U.S. food system’s annual use of water, energy, and employment. These data can be broken down by supply chain stages, food and beverage categories, and marketing channels, showing how and where resources are used from farm to fork.

During this webinar, ERS Economist Sarah Rehkamp gives an overview of the RRFD data product, highlights its uses, and demonstrates how to access it on the ERS website.
