Briefly

Kar Ho Lim is a research agricultural economist with the Diet, Safety, and Health Economics Branch in the Food Economics Division. Kar Ho joined the Economic Research Service in September 2020. His research topics include consumer demand, food safety issues, food labeling policy, and food marketing.

Background

Prior to joining ERS, Kar Ho was a faculty member in the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Tennessee State University (2015–2020) and the Department of Food and Resource Economics at Korea University (2013–2015).

Education

Kar Ho received his PhD from the University of Kentucky in 2012.
