Agricultural Economist


Candice Wilson serves as an analyst for the Oil Crops Outlook in the Market and Trade Economics Division at the Economic Research Service (ERS).


Candice joined ERS in January of 2021. Her work primarily focuses on monthly publishing of the Oil Crops Outlook report and related analysis. Prior to coming to ERS, she served as the Manager of Ethanol Trade Policy and Economics for the U.S. Grains Council, a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) cooperator that promotes exports of coarse grains and co-products. Candice also served as an intern for USDA, Foreign Agricultural Service at the U.S. Mission to the European Union in Brussels, Belgium. She is part of a fifth-generation farming family in West Central, Missouri.


Candice received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University.
