Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry Outlook: March 2015

The Livestock, Dairy, & Poultry Outlook for March 2015 describes events and outlook based on projections from USDA's World Agricultural Supply and Use Estimates report for beef, pork, lamb, poultry, eggs, and dairy production and trade.

Errata: On April 1, the quarterly 2015 and total 2015 U.S. per capita egg consumption estimates reported in the Red Meat Forecast table of March 2015 Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry Outlook were corrected. The correct quarterly 2015 per capita egg consumption estimates are 65.0, 65.7, 65.9, and 67.5. The correct 2015 per capita egg consumption estimate is 264.1 eggs.

Errata: On March 17, the fourth quarter 2014 and total 2014 commercial beef production estimates reported in the Red Meat Forecast table of the March 2015 Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry Outlook were corrected. The correct fourth quarter 2014 production number is 6,023 million lb, and the correct 2014 total beef production is 24,252 million lb.
