Annemarie Kuhns is an economist in the Food Markets Branch, Food Economics Division. She forecasts retail food price inflation and provides analysis on current price trends. Annemarie also conducts research on consumers' food purchasing decisions and related topics.
Annemarie joined ERS in June of 2013 after completing her master’s degree in economics from Georgia State University. Prior to completing her degree, Annemarie worked as an economist with the Bureau of Labor Statistics on the Consumer Price Index and National Compensation Survey programs.
Annemarie has a M.A. in Economics from Georgia State University and a B.S. in Economics from Oglethorpe University.
