Allison Borchers is an Economist in the Farm Economy Branch in the Resources and Rural Economic Division. Her research interests include land use, agricultural land values, and farmland tenure.
Allison has been an Economist at ERS in the Resources and Rural Economic Division since 2010. Prior to graduate school Allison worked as a Power Analyst for the Vermont Public Power Supply Authority.
Allison earned a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.S. in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Delaware, and a B.A. in Economics from Saint Michael’s College.
