Summer Food Service Program Map Machine: Instructions

Data Layers

The map machine contains eight data layers: five can be used for analysis, and three can be used for reference. All of the data layers can be displayed at the same time. Note, however, that the Number of 5-17 Year Olds Above 185% Poverty and the Percent of 5-17 Year Olds Above 185% Poverty are polygon layers, and if both are drawn at the same time, one will cover up the other. In addition, county and State boundaries are automatically drawn on the map.
