                SELECTED FARM MACHINERY STATISTICS

These two disks contain annual and monthly farm machinery time series data
(some series run from 1944 to 1990) obtained from several Government
agencies and one domestic trade organization.  Farm machinery data reflect
domestic production, factory shipments, domestic industry inventory
indices, domestic price indices, U.S. farm expenditures for capital
purchases, repairs, and depreciation, domestic on-farm inventories, and
U.S. exports and imports.  The specific source is given at the bottom of
each table.

Data on these diskettes may be copied and distributed without restriction.
