The Nutrient Availability Data provide estimates of the amounts per capita per day of food energy and 27 nutrients and dietary components (for example, protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals) in the U.S. food supply. For example, users can obtain grams and percent of total protein provided by meat, poultry, and fish per capita per day.
