Selecting report content
The options available in the menus are interdependent and will refresh as selections are made. Changes to menus in the top two rows will always cause the parameters window to refresh.
Multiple selections can be made in the parameters window, reports are generated by clicking the view report button..To the extent possible selections will persist to aid data exploration. Selections made in the lower rows of the parameter window will not cause the upper menu options to refresh. Once options are set use the
button to generate a new report.
Subject coverage varies by geography and year. The years available are also dependent on the geography.
The cross tabulation grouping options have the same selection listing, excluding the initial option; which is to say, you can not have a cross tabulation with an option by the same option. The options "All acres" and "All farms" both identify the survey universe and provide an exception to the rule used to report the survey universe values without any breakouts.

Data model
A somewhat simplified data model that illustrates how structure tables are used to populate the menu interface to specify parameters to shape the data sets returned. The interdependencies of the structure tables/menus result in the menu refresh as selections are made. The data from the SAS files is a sparse matrix, a view is used to enable the display of report topics in either a row set or a column set.
