ERS and Farm Foundation Announce the 2008 PREISM Workshop

ERS's Program of Research on the Economics of Invasive Species Management (PREISM), an annual competitive grant and cooperative agreement program that focuses on national decisionmaking concerning agricultural invasive species, held its 2008 workshop on October 23-24.

The workshop brought together researchers, program administrators, policymakers, and other stakeholders concerned with the management of invasive species. The keynote speaker was Dr. Richard Mack, Professor of Ecology at the Washington State University. The featured luncheon speaker was Dr. Daniel Botkin, Professor Emeritus, University of California at Santa Barbara.
