Commodity and Food Elasticities Database allows queriable searches of income, expenditure, and own- and cross-price elasticities for specific commodities and countries, which can be ranked and sorted. The elasticities are mainly from U.S. research on consumer demand published in working papers, dissertations, and peer-reviewed journals. The greatest number of demand studies are for vegetables, fruits, meat, and grocery products in the United States and China (09/07).

Phytosanitary Regulation of the Entry of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables into the United States contains information on the countries eligible, according to USDA's Animal and Plant Health and Inspection Service, to export certain fresh fruits and vegetables to the United States and provides data on global production and trade for these commodities (09/07). 

U.S. Onion Statistics contains 72 time-series ExcelExcel file tables describing fresh and dehydrated onion markets, including acreage, yield, production, price, value, trade, and per capita consumption. Includes State-level production series, agricultural chemical use, and world area, production, and trade (05/07).

U.S. Bell and Chile Pepper Statistics presents 59 ExcelExcel file tables detailing U.S. and State acreage, yield, production, price, and crop value. Also contains statistics on U.S. per capita disappearance, monthly shipments, U.S. import/export volume and value by country, and world acreage, production, producer prices, and trade (02/07).

Dry Pea and Lentil Statistics include time-series ExcelExcel file tables describing dry pea and lentil markets, including U.S. acreage, yield, production, price, value, trade, and per capita use. Other tables contain data on world dry pea, lentil, and chickpea acreage, production, and trade (12/06).

U.S. Carrot Statistics presents U.S. and State data on acreage, yield, production, price, and value for fresh and processing carrots. U.S. Cantaloup Statistics presents 37 ExcelExcel file tables describing the U.S. cantaloup industry, including U.S. and state acreage, yield, production, price, and crop value. Also features statistics on U.S. per capita consumption, monthly shipments, import/export volume and value, and world acreage, production, and trade (09/04).

Sweet Potato Statistics provides 40 ExcelExcel file tables describing the U.S. sweet potato industry, including U.S. and state acreage, yields, production, prices, and crop value. Also features statistics on U.S. per capita consumption, monthly shipments, import/export volume and value, and world acreage, production, and trade (05/03).
