Food and Nutrition Service—Administers USDA's food and nutrition assistance programs and provides program guidelines, data, and research on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly the Food Stamp Program), WIC, and child nutrition programs. The agency's SNAP/FSP research includes useful reports on the characteristics of program participants and trends in the SNAP/FSP participation rate.

USDA reports on SNAP/FSP—SNAP/FSP reports prepared by or for the Food and Nutrition Service.

Nutrition Education—SNAP-Ed (formerly FSNE)—Provides education to SNAP/FSP recipients to encourage healthy food choices consistent with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPyramid. The Federal-State commitment to this joint nutrition education program has grown rapidly in recent years, generating increased interest in program impact. This link provides access to general information about SNAP-Ed manintained at USDA's National Agricultural Library website. Information on nutrition education research conducted by USDA's Food and Nutrition Service is also available.

SNAP Retailer Locator—A website maintained by the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) that provides an interactive map showing locations of all SNAP retailers and a downloadable database of SNAP retailer records.
