Michael Ollinger has been an economist with the Economic Research Service (ERS) of USDA since 1991. His main research interests are food safety and structural change. Background
Before coming to ERS, Michael was a graduate student of economics at Washington University in St. Louis. Before becoming an economist he worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer and as a mechanical engineer for the Colgate-Palmolive company. Education
